About me:

I'm Charlotte, the groomer and owner behind Bark and Barrel. I'm a Level 3 qualified dog groomer with a strong background in animal care and welfare.

I grew up with huskies and now own a dog who prefers his own space, I truly understand how important a calm, private grooming enviroment can be. Not every dog thrives in a busy salon.

At Bark and Barrel, I offer relaxed, one-to-one grooming tailored to each dogs individual needs, comfort and wellbeing.

Bath and Tidy

Gentle wash with shampoo, blow dry and brush out . A perfect maintenance between full grooms to keep your pets smelling fresh. Suitable for all breeds and sizes.

Full Groom

Gentle, private sessions including a complete haircut to breed standard or your preference, bath, blow dry, nail trim, ear cleaning, and styling. Suitable for all breeds and sizes

Hand Stripping

Traditional hand stripping for wire-coated breeds such as terriers. Also suitable for silky coated breeds such as show cocker spaniels. Maintains coat texture and colour naturally.

Puppy Groom

A gentle first grooming experience with plenty of breaks, cuddles, and positive reinforcement to help puppies build confidence. Available until 6 months. Puppy grooms/desensitisation are recommend to start after 2nd jabs.

De-shed treatment

Add the De-shed Treatment to a full groom or bath and tidy. Promoting healthier, shinier coat for your pet. Using advanced de-shedding techniques and high-quality products, this treatment helps to remove loose fur effectively, leaving your pet feeling and looking their best. Perfect for both long-haired and short-haired breeds.

Nail onlys

A quick appointment to get them nails nice and short. This can be booked online or may be available on the day by phone call.
